Help students learn to recognize and understand facial expressions and emotions with Emotions Skill Strips®! Students listen to or read prompts and select the matching photo showing a particular emotion. Prompts cover six basic emotions — happy, sad, fear, anger, surprise, and disgust — and include synonyms to build emotional vocabulary.

Skill Levels:

• Level 1: Identify an emotion shown by one person across three different expressions.

• Level 2: Choose the correct facial expression from three different people.

• Level 3: Match a situation (e.g., "Who lost a pet?") to the appropriate facial expression.

• Level 4: Look at a facial expression and choose the event that could have caused it.
